Comcast Corliss 2019 Bargaining: Report 4

The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reports from the Tuesday, May 21, 2019 meeting:

Bargaining resumed today, May 21, 2019 at the Local office in Carnegie, PA with the Union team recapped the status of the proposals passed over the first 3 days of bargaining. The company spent little time in rejecting many ideas we offered to strengthen the Unit and offered more proposals asking for givebacks that will gut the CBA. The Union Team worked into the evening reviewing company proposals and preparing responses that will benefit the Membership not harm it. 

The company hasn’t been interested in discussing any proposals that would benefit the Unit, only those that would lead to concessions. We are scheduled to meet again tomorrow to continue the fight for a fair contract. It is more important than ever that you seek out your Rep and ask about mobilization activities and learn what you can do to be involved!
