Comcast Corliss 2019 Bargaining: Report 5
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported from Wednesday, May 22, 2019's bargaining session:
The Union met with the company today, May 22, 2019 and spent much of the day in discussions and asking questions of the company’s intentions on proposals related to changes to standby, discipline, probationary period, absence and vacation. We are still waiting on answers to many questions to make the best responses. The Union Team is working on counter proposals that will benefit the Members and not strip away their rights.
The company is still seeking concessions on each of the 12 proposals it has passed and is not receptive to proposals which improve working conditions. We are scheduled to meet again tomorrow and will continue to fight for a contract that is fair for the Membership. Continue to seek out your Rep for additional bargaining information. To start showing the company you are invested in this fight, wear your RED and your Union button every day until we have a signed contract!
