Comcast Corliss 2022 Bargaining Report 7
On August 25, 2022, the CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported:
We met with the Company the last 2 days, August 24 and 25, 2022 and engaged in discussions on a number of topics. We had a number of conversations over wages and made our first wage proposal in this round of bargaining. We did this because the company said they understood the need to make fair, reasonable increases to your wages. They then responded with a counter wage proposal that was insultingly small! We should expect nothing less from this greedy company!
On a positive, we need to thank the members who participated in the schedule change mobilization! Your message was heard LOUD and clear…the company won’t be pursuing the matter any further during bargaining. It shows what can be accomplished when we stand together!
The company made clear today how it values what you do for it. Be prepared to participate in JOB ACTIONS when your Reps ask. It’s time to send a message to the company! Bargaining is in recess and scheduled to resume September 20 and 21, 2022.
