Comcast Corliss 2025 Bargaining: Report #1

On April 30, the CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported on Comcast Corliss negotiations:
The Union Bargaining Committee met with the Company the last two days, April 29 and 30, 2025 in Carnegie, PA. While the company didn’t pass a single proposal until 3:30 this afternoon, we attempted to advance bargaining by sharing a number of proposals looking to improve parts of the contract. Among them were proposals that impact made-to-stay, time off, PTO, and others. The first proposal the company passed intends to fix a typographical error that doesn’t impact on the intent of anything in your contract. The second affects the timeframe to select holidays. Additionally, the company has offered no response to any of our proposals as bargaining concludes for the week. In fact, there are proposals we cannot pass at this time as the company has also failed to provide the necessary information that we have previously requested. We still have many more proposals to build and pass that represent the concerns you presented in your bargaining surveys.
We are scheduled to resume bargaining on the morning of May 14, 2025. While bargaining has just begun there are already signs that we are in for a challenging fight. Contact your Branch Rep or Steward to learn of Mobilizations and to get more details about progress at the bargaining table. Now is the time to send a MESSAGE!
