Comcast South Hills 2023-24 Bargaining Report 3
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported:
Your Bargaining Committee spent the last 3 days, February 6, 7 and 8, 2024, meeting with the Company in several bargaining sessions. We decided to spend all of our time this week working to achieve a wage package that we could present to the Membership. We made presentations on industry standards and norms along with cost-of-living adjustments in efforts to show the company that it needs to provide better compensation to the bargaining unit. While we have made limited progress, the company committee continues to undervalue your worth. When presented with facts the company responds with ignorance, when reasoned with the company responds with shallow, inaccurate rebuttals.
Bargaining is scheduled to resume in mid-March. We will continue to work between now and then to increase Unit wages and preserve and protect your bargained for rights.
Remember to reach out to your Branch Rep or Steward to get more details about progress at the bargaining table.
