Consolidated Communications, Inc. Bargaining 2011: September 28, 2011

We met with the Company and expressed our concerns over and over regarding all of the noneconomic issues that are still on the bargaining table at this late hour of negotiations. They were told that we are not going to address the three major economic issues until all of the non-economic issues are removed or settled at the table. Title flexibility, movement of work, sick leave and physical standards are still on the table and must be resolved before we move forward.

We will be providing answers and possible settlements regarding Death in Family and Holiday Pay but this shows how little movement the Company has made to this point.

The picket lines are having a huge impact and we are getting good support from the public in general. Picket schedules have been posted. Find out when you need to picket and plan on attending the membership meeting this evening at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church.

TWO days to go. Stay united and step up Mobilizations. Contact a retiree and ask that they join in our fight because this attack by Consolidated Communications affects them also.
