CWA-AT&T MOBILITY BARGAINING REPORT #18

The Union made a return trip to the bargaining table late this afternoon to get an answer from the Company on our comprehensive proposal made earlier today.

There was little progress made. Tentative agreements were reached on Article 20-Travel and Article 14-Force Adjustment.

As you can see, the Company is either not getting what we are saying or they are just that unwilling to share the profits; in other words, they are greedy. Increasing your wages means nothing to them; allowing more flexibility means nothing to them; setting restrictions on how the Company administers the Commission Plan, Job Security, Holidays, Absence Time just to name a few are of no interest to them.

The Union is once again trying to tweak the remaining proposals to seal a deal.

The expiration time is fast approaching. Your bargaining team is committed to getting you a fair contract and we will not settle for anything less.

If you are working tonight, get everyone in your office to tell your manager it is time to stop the greed and give us our fair share of the profits we create. If you are not working, send an email to your supervisor.
