CWA-CCI (CLEC) Bargaining Report #1

The Union and Company met this week to begin bargaining. On Wednesday, February 11th, the Company passed several proposals across the table to the Union. Proposals contained language changes for Sick Time/STD; Discipline; Medical Insurance; Clothing program and other topics. The Union also passed proposals across the table to the Company. After all day discussions, the Company and Union reached tentative agreements on a few of the proposals.

On Thursday, February 12th, the Union introduced a new proposal to the Company along with a number of counters to their original proposals. The Company took time to respond to the counters and another tentative agreement was reached.

The Company and Union will resume bargaining next Tuesday, February 17th at the Northern Tier Library, 4015 Dickey Road, Gibsonia at 8:30 a.m.
