CWA-CCI (CLEC) Bargaining Report #2

The Union and Company met on Tuesday, 2/17, Wednesday, 2/18 and Thursday 2/19 of this week. The Union responded to several of the Company’s proposals and in some cases made multiple counters without seeing much, if any, movement from the Company on many of the language proposals.

The Company is set on getting title flexibility between the two contracts with little to no compensation to the CLEC members. The Union has made various offers to combine the two contracts and in doing so increase the wages and benefits for our CLEC members. The Company Is not interested in resolving their title flexibility issue that way.

After three days of working towards gaining improvements for our members we reached no agreement with the Company. Additional days of bargaining have been set and your bargaining team will continue to work on achieving gains in the existing contract.
