CWA - LifePath Bargaining Report: Tentative Agreement Reached
Late Monday, November 24th, CWA Local 13500 and LifePath reached a tentative agreement. Contract explanation meetings and Ratification dates will be announced shortly by Local 13500.
Summary of the Agreement:
Wages
2.25% retroactive to October 1, 2014
1.0% minimum guaranteed October 1, 2015
1.0% minimum guaranteed October 1, 2016
Continuation of the Cost of Living allowance (COLA) provision.
Continuation of the Annual Bonus.
Start Rates
$9.25 retro to October 1, 2014
$9.35 October 1, 2015
$9.50 October 1, 2016
Should LifePath receive a Reduction in funding from the State of more than $600,000, the increased starting rate may be pushed into the following year.
Improved Inclement Weather, Additional Scheduled PTO after 5 Winter Closings.
Improved Bereavement, including the Parent of a Dependent Child and any person residing in the home.
Administrative Transfer, wage protection extended to 120 Days.
Current FMLA Bank balances remain for all Full Time Employees. No additional hours will accrue.
PTO. Employees with three (3) or more years of service will be credited with three (3) additional PTO days per year.
A new LifePath paid Short Term Disability plan for all full time employees providing up to 13 weeks of Disability Pay at 60% of base wage.
Day Program PTO. A minimum of 10% of the work force will be permitted Scheduled PTO on any day regardless of other absences.
No change in the Medical Plan
No change in Employees Medical Plan Contribution Rates.
