CWA/ZeniMax QA Effects Bargaining Update: July 30

On Thursday, July 30, 2026, the CWA Bargaining Committee reported:
Dear fellow CWA members,
Your CWA bargaining committee met virtually today for ZeniMax QA Effects Bargaining. One of the goals going into effects bargaining is seeing impacted members return to jobs and we continued to negotiate for that during this session. The Union used the session to respond to the Employer’s proposal, which includes an interest in returning some employees to the payroll for a limited duration. Negotiations of who and what projects are ongoing.
In addition, we raised concerns over not having access to the game tokens and not having the ability to redeem them. We are continuing to pursue issues regarding outsourcing and other contract violations.
The session ended with a commitment from the Employer to review our counter proposal and respond.
We also requested additional dates to continue effects bargaining.
