AT&T MOBILITY: Orange Contract
The Orange Contract Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement (TA) with AT&T Mobility last week. A summary of the TA is available here:

CLIMATE REALITY

DEMOCRATIC-TRIBUNE
Members of the Johnstown Typographical Union (CWA 14815) ratified a four-year agreement with The Tribute-Democrat. The new contract is in effect until April 30, 2030.

DIRECTV
In April, DirecTV members voted to authorize union leaders to call a strike if necessary. CWA reported: “The union members demonstrated their commitment to these goals by voting to reject a tentative agreement on March 27 that failed to provide fair working conditions.” Negotiations continue.
EWV (formerly AFT-WV)
Last September, AFT-WV merged with WVEA, which created a new organization named Education West Virginia (EWV). Following the merger, the parties negotiated a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and the members ratified it last year. The CBA is in effect through November 30, 2028.

PIEDMONT
This month, the Piedmont Bargaining Team reported that the airline is rejecting proposals to raise workers’ wages while management goes on “retreats.” The Bargaining Team asks you to sign a letter to Piedmont Airlines CEO Eric Morgan in support of our members’ fight for a fair contract: CWA.org/PiedmontCEO
THRYV
Negotiations with Thryv over the Pennsylvania and Potomac-area contracts continue following an agreement to extend the current contract’s expiration date. The contract will remain in effect through July 1, 2026.
WELLS FARGO
A rally was held in Charlotte, NC this month to demand Wells Fargo negotiate a fair contract. Wells Fargo United (WFWU-CWA) was joined by the North Caroline AFL-CIO, UNITE Here!, and SEIU 32BJ to relay a message of unity and strength on behalf of workers across the country.
ZENIMAX ZSSU
Bargaining continued in April over the CTO contract with ZeniMax. In the latest report, the Bargaining Team commits to fighting for a strong and fair contract for members.
