District 2-13 Bargaining News: July 2026

CLIMATE REALITY

CWA Local 2336’s Bargaining Team announced an overall tentative agreement with Climate Reality this month. Details about this first contract for the members, as well as the ratification vote, will be shared by the Local. 

DELAWARE DSHS-DSP – 911 and CIVILIANS

The Local 13101 Bargaining Committee reported that the current Collective Bargaining Agreements with the State of Delaware remain in effect while negotiations continue. The Bargaining Team shared that it “is currently evaluating all available options, including the possibility of requesting mediation if negotiations continue to stall. No final decision has been made, but we will keep the membership informed every step of the way.”

DIRECTV (Local 2009)

Members of Local 2009, along with workers across the Districts 4 and 7, ratified their contract with DirecTV. CWA reported the new agreement “includes a 13.4% compounded wage increase throughout the life of the contract; an increase in the time interval between calls, doubling the current duration; and quality, affordable healthcare, preserving prescription drug co-pays.”

PIEDMONT

The CWA Piedmont Airlines Bargaining Team reached a tentative agreement last week. The contract covers passenger service and ramp agents across the country, including members in CWA Locals 2252 and 13301.

THRYV

The CWA Bargaining Committee – made up of representatives from Districts 1 and 2-13 – continues negotiations with Thryv. The current contract has been extended to the end of August.

ZENIMAX

On July 6th, Microsoft announced layoffs of thousands of workers, including video game workers represented by CWA Locals 2100 and 2108. In his statement, District 2-13 Vice President Michael Davis vowed to fight for every CWA member.
