District 2-13 Bargaining News: June 2025

AFT 

CWA Local 2001’s Bargaining Team agreed to extend the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFT in West Virginia. The new expiration date is July 31, 2025, which allows the current CBA terms to remain in effect while bargaining continues in July. 

 

CATALIST

As negotiations continue with Catalist, the CWA Local 2336 Bargaining Committee agreed to an extension of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. The contract will now expire on September 30, 2025. Read the latest report from the bargaining table:

COMCAST (Corliss) 

CWA Local 13000 bargained with Comcast over the Corliss contract throughout June. In the latest report, the Bargaining Team reported the Union is “holding off company attempts to break down current working conditions and strip bargained for rights from your contract.” Read the full report.

The terms of the current contract remain in effect while negotiations continue.

 

STATE OF DELAWARE: 

Office of State Bank Commissioners and Capitol Police Dispatchers

This month, CWA Local 13101 reported that “a mediator will be assigned to assist in bargaining for both the Office of the State Bank Commissioners and Capitol Police units.”

FRONTIER PA 

CWA Local 13571 members voted to ratify a two-year contract with Frontier Communications in Pennsylvania. Read more about the ratification.

This month, CWA Local 2007 members ratified a two-year extension of their current contract with The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.

ASHN (INOVA)

Our members at INOVA/ASHN continue to work without a contract as active negotiations continue. Reach out to Local 2252 for the latest information.

 

MISSIONWIRED

The CWA Local 2336 Bargaining Committee met with MissionWired throughout June to negotiate the first contract for this bargaining unit. Several proposals have passed back and forth. Read the most recent report.

The Bargaining Committee asks members to wear red on the days of bargaining sessions to show support for a fair contract. The next session is scheduled for Thursday, July 17th.

 

PIEDMONT

Negotiations with Piedmont resumed on June 11, 2025. In their latest report, the Bargaining Committee reported:

CWA continues to ask for accurate and transparent wage information from Piedmont. Because of the Union’s persistence, the Company has agreed to conduct a second audit covering all 7,500 passenger service members.  The Union will leave no stone unturned until all agents who were impacted by the Company’s errors are made whole. The company committed to providing the second audit results by June 20th. To date, the Union has not received it and we have sent the Company a request for an update on the audit status.
