COMCAST (ALLE-KISKE)
At the end of May, the Local 13000 Team reached and ratified a 3-year contract with Comcast for the Alle-Kiske bargaining unit. The Local reported the new contract: “included every employee receiving an up-front increase and 2% every year for the 3 years of the new contract, increased maintenance on call/standby pay, changes to the temporary assignment, increased starting rates for new hires, we also have two new areas that are now covered by our members (Kittanning and Freeport) and best of all no givebacks!”

DELAWARE DSHS-DSP – 911 and CIVILIANS
The Local 13101 Bargaining Committee met with the State this month. The Local reported:
Unfortunately, it has become increasingly clear that the State is approaching these negotiations with a predetermined agenda. Rather than engaging in meaningful discussions and working toward mutually acceptable solutions, management continues to act as though they know what is best for your division and has focused more on telling us what they are going to do than listening to the concerns and priorities of the employees who do the work every day.

DIRECTV (Local 2009)
CWA announced a tentative agreement with DirecTV for customer service workers, which includes our members working in West Virginia. In their Press Release, CWA reported the new agreement would “include wage increases, improved working conditions providing an increase in time between calls, and more.”
The ratification vote was scheduled for the end of June.
ENVOY
The Envoy Bargaining Team negotiated in Dallas earlier this month. The Bargaining Team asks members to be ready for mobilization activities. The next scheduled bargaining session is scheduled for the end of July.
