District 2-13 Human Rights 2025 Toiletry Kit Project

During District 2-13's Human Rights Meeting at the end of 2024, Local leaders discussed potential community projects within the District's footprint. The Locals unanimously agreed to prepare and distribute toiletry/hygiene kits for those in need in each state the District represents. Locals and Sectors set the goal of each preparing 50 kits (25 for women and 25 for men) for donation within the first quarter of 2025. The Locals completed the project by the March 2025 deadline and many exceeded their 50-kit goal! The kits were delivered to area Catholic Charities, who expressed their appreciation for the donations.
Nikki Robinson (CRE) and Ann Vogler (Women's Committee) represent District 2-13 on the CWA National Human Rights Committee. District 2-13 Vice President Michael Davis fully supported the project and participated in the delivery/presentation of the kits to Catholic Charities while in the Pittsburgh area.
We thank the Locals and participants for their generosity and commitment to our communities.
