Duquesne Club Bargaining Report #8 - Final Report
Dear Member,
Below is a final bargaining report that details the Tentative Agreement negotiated by your Bargaining Team. While we didn’t achieve everything we wanted we were able to improve wages and maintain costs associated with rising Healthcare.
Term of Agreement: 4 years

Wage Increase:
Tipped Employee: .20 .20 .20 .20
Non Tipped Employee: .40 .40 .40 .40
Service Employee: .26 .26 .26 .26
Engineer Employee: .65 .65 .65 .65
Article 2
Hours Requirement remains the same at 1664.
Grandfathered status remains the same at 1225, even if you lose status.
Employees who loose regular status due to medical conditions and can return to regular status within three years will have an opportunity to regain partial seniority credit.
Stronger language in management performing bargaining unit work.
Article 6
Club initiated moves from one department to another employee will retain departmental seniority.
Article 11 – Health and Welfare
Club will continue to pay 50% of employee deductible:
Individual – Employee pays $350 of $750
Family - Employee pays $750 of $1500
Employee Contributions will be increased only if the premiums increase by more than 3% (2011, 2012, 2013) and then only for 50% of the amount of the increase in excess of the percentage.
Employee contributions will not exceed the following:
Plan term beginning 10/1/11- $20 per individual and $40 per other than individual
Plan term beginning 10/1/12 -$25 per individual and $45 per other than individual
Plan term beginning 10/1/13-$30 per individual and $55 per other than individual
Article 16
Smoking policy remains the same.
Part Time Employees:
Increase to a rate less than .35 of Full time rate. Part time employees will have an opportunity to bid on full time positions, if no full time employee bids.
