On Friday, April 5, 2024, the CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reported:
The Union and the Company met yesterday for day 2 of bargaining for a first contract. Discussions were held surrounding the Union's initial proposals submitted on day 1, and clarifying questions were asked and answered regarding the requested information the Company has provided to the Union. Based on previous positive discussions the Union submitted several revised proposals from day 1's session. Additionally, the Union submitted new proposals on Grievance Procedure, Arbitration, and Non-Discrimination. Over the course of yesterday's session, individual tentative agreements were reached on several items. The Company also provided counter proposals on various Articles which the Union is currently reviewing. The next bargaining session is scheduled for May 10, 2024. The Union Bargaining team will be reviewing the results of those bargaining surveys received by the membership to set our agenda for upcoming bargaining. Members are urged to stay in contact with Bargaining team members for updates and any actions needed.
