Frontier WV/VA 2017 Bargaining: Report 06
The Union and the Company met this week. To date the Company has made proposals concerning Vacation Scheduling Percentage, Short Notice Excused Work Days, Medically Restricted Policy, Frontier-CWA West Virginia Coordinator, Absence from Duty, Enhanced Income Security Plan, Broadband Network Employment Security Provisions, and Outside Plant Copper Cable Splicing. The Union Bargaining Committee remains focused on the members’ priorities which we made clear from the beginning -- Benefits, Job Security, Retirement, and Wages. We will continue reviewing the Company’s proposals and preparing responses. Comparing the proposals presented, it is clear that the Union and the Company are at odds. It is important that every member is engaged in the mobilization activities. Every Local has done a great job showing their support and the Bargaining Committee says, “Keep up the good work!” By mutual agreement, the Bargaining Committees will meet the week of June 12, 2017. MOBILIZE!
BE INFORMED! BE INVOLVED! IT’S YOUR FIGHT! IT’S YOUR CONTRACT!
