Frontier WV/VA 2017 Bargaining: Report 09

CWA and Frontier Communications have agreed to a three-month extension of the current contract.  All provisions of the current contract, which was originally set to expire on August 5, 2017, have been extended until November 4, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.

The Union Bargaining Committee, with input from Local Presidents, believes this extension will provide time needed to address our key issues.  Healthcare was one of the top three issues that members identified.  The Union Bargaining Committee and Company Bargaining Committee will utilize an experienced consultant to provide a neutral third-party perspective on healthcare.
