Frontier WV/VA 2017 Bargaining: Report 19

For the week of October 23 – October 27, 2017

CWA and Frontier Communications have agreed to further extend the current contract. All provisions of the current contract, which were set to expire on November 4, 2017, have been extended until March 3, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.

The Union Bargaining Committee, the Company Bargaining Committee, and a representative from Segal Consulting met this week in the sub-committee on Healthcare. Although participation in the sub-committee and utilization of Segal Consulting has produced useful information and dialogue regarding healthcare, to date, the Union and Company have not reached agreement on any issue. Therefore, the Union Bargaining Committee, with input from Local Presidents, believe an extension is appropriate to allow time to reach an agreement.
