Frontier WV/VA 2017 Bargaining: Report 30

The Union Bargaining Committee and Company Bargaining Committee met today.  The Union stressed to the Company that employment security for our members is critical to reaching an agreement.  The Union went over every proposal that needs to be addressed by the Company.  The Union also demanded that the entire contractor data request be provided.  Bargaining has recessed for the evening and will reconvene tomorrow.

Today’s blackout and statewide picketing showed that we are UNITIED and sent a strong message to Frontier.  We are ready to do whatever it takes! The electricity of today created by the mobilization activities has even further energized your bargaining committee.  Employment Security, Quality Affordable Healthcare, and Reduction of Contractors are the top three issues presented to the company from day one.  With just a little over 24 hours until contract expiration, everyone should stay in touch with their Locals for information.
