Graphic Audio First Contract Negotiations: Summary of 3/17/26

On Tuesday, March 17, the Graphic Audion Union reported:

Summary of 03.17.26 Events for Mobilizing Committee

● Today was our tenth bargaining session with RB. In attendance on the Union side was Donald, Laura, Nicolette (from GA), Tammy, Kisha, Brandon, and Lisa (from CWA). Present on the Employer side was Justin Keith (RB lawyer), Anji Cornette (GA VP GM), Ed Longo (RB COO), Shana Jackson (RB VP HR), and Anoosha Rouhanian (RB VP Legal).

● We began the day in caucus to review the Company responses to our last RFI so that we could pass clarifying questions in our first table meeting. At the same time, we began working on the CWA V1.0 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to marry the content in our layoff, recall and severance benefits proposals. We incorporated language from the Company’s most recent Effects Bargaining Agreement counterproposal that we agreed should be included in the final MOA agreement.

● We passed our list of clarifying questions across the table at our first meeting with GA-RB. Justin requested that Lisa flag any questions that needed to be prioritized so the Union could pass a counter today. Three of the longer list of those RFI questions were asked and subsequently answered by Ed and/or Justin.

● After impressing upon the GA-RB team that we needed responses to our RFI, we returned to caucus to collate the V1.0 MOA content and review our first caucus writing alongside the RFI answers obtained in our first table meeting.

● We completed our first draft of the MOA and returned to the table for Lisa to review the document in its entirety. Lisa presented the Memorandum as a document the Union is used to drafting in this context. Lisa opened the floor for the GA-RB team to ask any clarifying questions.Shana, Justin, and Ed asked questions that were answered by Lisa. We were able to clarify the Company’s confusion that the V1.0 MOA was our response to their Effects Bargaining Agreement and we are still preparing our counter to their Separation Agreement.

● Justin did request that we start tomorrow at the table for the Company to provide their response to our V1.0 MOA. This last table meeting marked the end of the session day. We ended the day prepared to meet slightly earlier than 10a for a brief caucus before the start of tomorrow’s bargaining session table meet.
