Comcast Alle-Kiske

Negotiations between CWA Local 13000 and Comcast over the Alle-Kiske contract opened in June. In the most recent round of bargaining, the committee reported:

The Union and company bargaining committees met by phone again today Friday, June 19, 2020. Talks continued on open proposals and no new proposals were passed today. In their  June 26, 2020 report, the T&T Bargaining Committee reported:

Late yesterday the Company sent Vice President Bolton a “Best, Last and Final Offer”, which is nothing more than the same offer that they have passed several times before. What's interesting is the accompanying letter to VP Bolton comes on the heels of the NLRB issuing ANOTHER COMPLAINT against Nokia for failure to provide information to the Union that is critical for us to bargain effectively an agreement that is mutually beneficial to both parties. The complaint also charges Nokia with “failing and refusing to bargain collectively and in good faith with the exclusive collective bargaining representative of its employees in violation of Section 8(a)(1) and (5) of the Act.”
