LifePath 2017 Bargaining: Report 2
Bargaining took place on both June 29, 2017 and July 12, 2017 with LifePath. The Union presented proposals on the following:
- Provide Significant Wage Increases
- Improve 401K Plan
- Additional Holidays
- Administrative Transfers
- PTO Payout On Resignation
- Improve PTO Accrual
- Improve Bereavement
- Political Action Fund
- Holiday Incentive
- Differentials
- Improve Short Term Disability
LifePath made proposals to the following:
- Restrict the Grievance Procedure
- Eliminate Holiday Deferral Option
- Extend Time Out on Disciplinary Write-Ups from 12 to 24 months
The parties will meet again on August 3, 2017 to exchange and discuss additional proposals.
In the meantime, CWA will be assessing the new State Budget and its affect on LifePath.
With the contract expiration date of September 30, 2017 fast approaching, now is when the hard work begins. We need every member to engage in this process and let LifePath Management know you deserve a fair and equitable contract.
