MissionWired First Contract Bargaining: Report #19

On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the CWA Local 2336 Bargaining Committee reported:
Your CWA bargaining committee met with MissionWired today for another negotiation session. The Union passed 4 new proposals. Three of the proposals dealt with different protected benefits/policies. They were EEO/Harassment/Discrimination; Civil Rights; COBRA and FMLA. The Union also passed a Worker Compensation Insurance proposal. Slight changes were made throughout the existing handbook policy but mostly the Union wanted to codify the policy to have it included in the contract.
The Committee is scheduled to meet next on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025. We will be presenting our economic proposals over the next 2 sessions which also signals that bargaining is close to reaching the end.
Bargaining is a whole team effort, and it could not be done without the support of our members. Please wear RED the day of our next scheduled bargaining session on Tuesday, June 24th to show support for and solidarity with the CWA Bargaining Committee.
