MX1 Bargaining Report 3

The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee reports:

The Union team met with Company management from MX1 and SES the last two days, August 19 and 20, 2019. We have now introduced 30 proposals designed to improve your working conditions and have begun to make progress on some issues. Proposals that we’ve made progress on include workplace safety and job security. We have also introduced proposals to improve vacation allowances as well as Holidays. The talks were mostly productive over the two days. We have now reached tentative agreements on 10 proposals while continuing to work on other workplace issues. Bargaining is moving at a slow but steady pace at this point. We are seeing some progress but still have much work to do. Now is the time to ask your Bargaining Committee how to be better involved in the fight for a first contract. Ask what YOU can do to help send a message to the Company that we are all UNITED.

Bargaining is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18, 2019. For more details and updates on bargaining reach out to Local 13000 Bargaining Team Members or Executive Vice President Jeff Reamer at 215-564-6169.
