VCS Bargaining 2011: Report # 19

Your Bargaining Team met with the Company tonight and the Company provided information to the Union that had been requested at earlier meetings. There was some discussion that followed and at the conclusion of the discussions the meeting adjourned. Your committee is reviewing the information that was provided and preparing for our meeting with the Company tomorrow, August 11th.

This is the time that we must stay strong on the picket lines and we must continue to let the Company know that WE WILL NOT GO BACK. Your strength on the picket lines gives strength to your Bargaining Committee so we can negotiate a Fair and Equitable Agreement that will help all of us move forward. We need everyone to continue to let the Company know where they can place their RETROGRESSIVE demands that are still on the table and each of us needs to let the Company know that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We need to keep the pressure on the Company and we cannot let up until we accomplish what we set out to do at the start of these negotiations. Let the Company know that we will not stop until we get a FAIR contract and with your help we will accomplish this together. We must turn up the heat on the Company so they clearly understand that whatever it takes WE WILL PREVAIL. STAY STRONG!!!
