VCS Bargaining 2011: Report # 22

Your Bargaining Team met briefly with the Company today and during this meeting the Company provided the Union with answers to several questions that were asked during our session yesterday. A tentative meeting has been set for tomorrow, Sunday August 14th. To date, the Company still refuses to withdraw any of the RETROGRESSIVE demands that they currently have on the table that will negatively impact each of you and your family. We must continue to clearly tell VCS that we will not go back to when this contract was first negotiated. We must continue to let these people know that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and we must clearly tell this corporation where they can put each of these RETROGRESSIVE demands either one at a time or all at once. This corporation continues to make money hand over fist and each of you deserves to share in those profits.

We all need to continue to fight this battle and in the end we will prevail. Hang tough on the picket lines and your Committee will continue to fight for each of you at the table and with your outstanding support on the lines we will last one more day than this GREEDY corporation. WE WILL PREVAIL!!!
