VCS Bargaining 2011: Report # 36
Your VCS Bargaining Team met with the Company on Tuesday and Wednesday and again nothing was accomplished in our attempt to resolve the many outstanding issues that remain on the table. We were also scheduled to meet with the Company on Thursday but that meeting never took place because the Company was waiting on some additional information pertaining to one of their counter-proposals that they were going to present concerning Healthcare. We are scheduled to meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week in our continued attempt to reach a FAIR AND EQUITABLE agreement with VCSI. To date, these discussions have not generated any positive results since up to now the Company’s position has been that the Union either accepts what they propose or it’s nothing but your Committee is determined and we will continue in our efforts to have every RETROGRESSIVE demand removed from the table. Your continued support is essential in order for your Committee to resolve these issues. We need each of you on a daily basis to let this Company know THAT WE WILL NOT GO BACK. It is up to each of us to keep the pressure on this Company until they finally realize that we will not accept their RETROGRESSIVE demands and that the only direction we will move is FORWARD. Part of that pressure must be directed at the Verizon Wireless Stores in your area. We must be out there at these Stores, under the direction of your Local, passing out flyers to the general public on a daily basis letting them know what Verizon is attempting to do to all of us and about their GREED. If we do this at these Stores the Company will begin to feel the results of our efforts. THIS IS A MUST!! Thanks for your support up to now and with your continued support WE WILL PREVAIL!!
ITS TIME TO TAKE BACK THE MIDDLE CLASS!!
STAY STRONG – STAY UNITED!!!
It’s all about good Union Jobs!!!!
MOBILIZE – MOBILIZE - MOBILIZE
