VCS Bargaining 2011: Report # 7
Your Bargaining Team met with the Company today to discuss their “healthcare” proposal and presented the Company with numerous questions regarding this totally retrogressive Plan. It is evident that the Company wants you to accept a Health Care Plan that requires you to pay a major portion of your hard earned wages to buy into this substandard, retrogressive plan and then pay more of your wages in co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses. Not only has the Company proposed that each of you pay considerably more for this “Retrogressive” plan but they also expect you to accept less coverage than we have had for years. Your committee is in recess until Monday July 25, 2011 at 10:00 am. We must stand together now more than ever to fight back these attacks on each of us and our families. It is time for each of us to stand up and tell VCS that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and that WE WILL NOT GO BACK. We must stand together now to fight back these attacks on us and our families!!!
