Verizon Bargaining 2011: Report # 19 - PM
The Regional Committee met with the company two times today. The morning session began late but a group of over 60 CWA L13000 and L13500 members greeted them with chants of “No Contract No Peace” as they entered the lobby of the hotel.
At the afternoon meeting the company brought a modified health care proposal to the table. This proposal is as bad as the first. It still requires our members to pay high deductibles and contributions for healthcare coverage.
Obviously, they haven’t heard us yet. Neighborhood welcoming committees should contiue their house visits to upper management.
Every memeber out there-MAKE IT LOUD AND MAKE IT CLEAR-We won’t go back.
