Altice 2024 Bargaining: Report #1
On Thursday, February 15, 2024, the Altice Bargaining Comittee reported:
Bargaining opened Thursday, February 15th between CWA and Altice USA. In the opening remarks the Union shared our commitment to preserve and improve the living standards for our families and good jobs for our future.
The Union stressed to the Company, despite the obstacles, challenges, and changes over the past four years CWA members have shown up, worked hard, and played an indispensable role in delivering quality service. We remain invested in the Company and our communities.
CWA members of both Local 2002 and Local 2007 participated in the bargaining survey and set clear priorities for negotiations. Our priorities are job security, securing bargaining unit work, safety, quality affordable healthcare, and compensation that recognizes the value our members bring.
The parties had discussions focused upon the objectives that each Bargaining Committee had for this round of bargaining. The Union Committee representatives identified issues regarding contractors, and the importance of wages and benefits.
The next scheduled days for bargaining are February 26th and February 29th.
