CWA District 2-13 AT&T Mobility members met in Charlotte, NC over the weekend of September 16, 2017 to participate in AT&T Mobility Organizing Brigade training. They joined AT&T Mobility employees from across the country for the first Brigade training, and they will be tasked with perhaps the most important job in the Union.
The Brigade will be organizing non-union wireless workers into CWA. Most wireless workers today do not have the benefit of a collective bargaining agreement. The absence of a CBA in the non-union wireless workforce puts downward pressure on the wages and benefits of our Mobility members. It is critical that we reach out to our non-union sisters and brothers and explain the benefits of being Union. AT&T Mobility members are more than up to the challenge!
