Bargaining Report #25: Frontier Communications

The Union and the Company met today.

The Company made a presentation on Call Centers. They provided background information on Frontier Call Centers across the country to facilitate discussion. The Bargaining Committee is reviewing the information.

The Bargaining Committee wants to remind everyone that in 2009, prior to the completion of the sale, Frontier signed a two year extension of our contract that maintained every aspect and provided wage increases. Then, in 2011, Maggie responded to a Legacy CWA member’s email stating the CBA 142 contract is too rich and unrealistic. This statement was made shortly after she received a 77% pay increase.

If you haven’t recognized it yet, your standard of living is under attack. The modern day Robber Baron is alive and well, robbing from her employees for her own benefit. Justifying each theft as a benefit to the shareholders, the Robber Baron CEO holds large sums of stock further benefiting herself.
