District 2-13 Bargaining News: July 2025

AFT 

This month, CWA Local 2001’s Bargaining Team agreed to extend the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with AFT in West Virginia. The new expiration date is August 31, 2025, which allows the current CBA terms to remain in effect while bargaining continues. 

CLIMATE REALITY

The CWA Local 2336 Bargaining Committee met with Climate Reality throughout June and July. Economic proposals were exchanged but some issues remain outstanding while negotiations continue over the first contract for this bargaining unit. Check out the latest report.

COMCAST (Corliss) 

The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee continued negotiating with Comcast over the Corliss contract throughout the month. Wages and time off have been major areas of discussion. Check out the latest report.

PIEDMONT

Negotiations with Piedmont took place during the first week of July. After the Union submitted proposals, the Company failed to respond to contract and wage improvements. The latest report from the Bargaining Committee outlines the current status of bargaining and their preparation for mediation.
