DIRECTV (Local 2009)
This month, the CWA DIRECTV Bargaining Committee reported on the status of DirecTV Care Contract negotiations:
After almost an entire month we met with the company today [May 20]. The Union passed a counter proposal on healthcare and the ball is now in the Company’s court.
The Union continues to reinforce that things you have identified as important like healthcare, wages, ACW, and PTO flexibility.
For now, we still want everyone to mobilize as much as possible. Use the memes and hashtags in those chats as much as possible. We cannot stress enough how much it helps us at the table. What all of you have done so far has impacted negotiations and we need all of you to keep it up. Let’s show them our solidarity and tell them we’ll not settle for anything less than a fair contract.
When we fight together… We win together!!!!!
In Solidarity,
