MissionWired First Contract Bargaining: Report #11

Today, the CWA Local 2336 MissionWired Bargaining Committee reported:

Hello fellow members:

Your CWA bargaining committee met with MissionWired today for  another negotiation session.  The Union passed 3 counterproposals on HOURS OF WORK; CLIENT AND INTERNAL MEALS AND TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT.  MissionWired agreed to the changes we made in 2 of those proposals-HOURS OF WORK AND TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT. 

The Union passed 2 new proposals to codify policies existing in the handbook that we want to include in our contract.  Those were related to COMMUTING EXPENSES and CELLPHONE REIMBURSEMENT.

Your bargaining committee is working on an Artificial Intelligence proposal and we need your input. Any positions or departments that have been affected by AI tools, please provide that information to one of the committee members.

The Committee is scheduled to meet next on October 22, 2024. 

Bargaining is a whole team effort, and it could not be done without the support of our members. Please wear RED the day of our next scheduled bargaining session on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, to show support for and solidarity with the CWA Bargaining Committee.
