The CWA District 2-13 website has a new design and some menu changes to make the information our members need easier to find.
Today the Bargaining Team worked on wages and improvements to mandatory summer overtime guidelines. The Team won’t stop until they have a fair contract to deliver to the membership!
Comcast Alle-Kiske and South Hills contracts are in negotiation as the Bargaining Committees fight the company’s demands for givebacks. The contract with ITS has been extended as negotiations continue. MWAA and PIW negotiations continue.
Nokia and CCI (ILEC) reached Tentative Agreements this month! American Air negotiations have been postponed, and talks with LifePath continue while economic issues are on hold. Comcast Alle-Kiske and Corliss bargaining tables are still active.
The parties met today to discuss possible terms of an extension of the current contract due to mutual dependence on State funding to address economic issues. The Bargaining Team is committed to see members' rights continue during any extension. 
CWA and LifePath discussed changes to the arbitration process, as well as LifePath's proposal to continue bargaining only on non-economic issues until after Pennsylvania sets its 2021-22 budget.
The Bargaining Committee is happy to announce a tentative agreement with CCI for the ILEC bargaining unit. Plan to attend a meeting to review the contract changes and the ratification vote on Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 PM.
Bargaining resumed today with LifePath rejecting all of your Union proposals and submitting a series of their retrogressive own demands. Today, LifePath demonstrated they clearly do not appreciate the value that YOU bring to work every day.

Since the last meeting, significant progress has been made. The Bargaining Team and Comcast are close to reaching an agreement. Members' support throughout is appreciated by the committee!
