CWA District 2-13 represents Verizon employees in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC. After an historic, 45-day strike with nearly 40,000 Verizon workers in 2016, CWA members achieved our major collective bargaining goals. The membership ratified extension agreements in 2022 and 2026. The contract remains in effect through August 3, 2030.

After ten months trying to reach a fair contract, nearly 40,000 Verizon workers from Massachusetts to Virginia will be walking off the job at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. The Verizon strike will be by far the largest work stoppage in the country in recent years.
