May 2021 Bargaining Round-Up

CenturyLink – Virginia

The CenturyLink Virginia contract has been extended and will now expire on July 1, 2021. The CWA Local 2204 Bargaining Committee will begin negotiations on June 14th through June 25th. Check Local 2204’s member resources (CenturyLink bargaining information) about the one-month extension, and the Local asks that you watch your email for updates.

Comcast Alle-Kiske

The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Team made progress on many issues, including wages, but still needs to resolve a couple of items before they can bring the contract to their membership for a vote. Bargaining continues. Reach out to your Local Rep for updates.

Delaware State Social Workers

This month, the CWA Local 13101 Bargaining Committee reached a Tentative Agreement with the State of Delaware. The Bargaining team proudly announced that – for the first time in the State’s history – Senior Social Workers/Case Manager members achieved a wage package that is guaranteed through Collective Bargaining. The membership ratified it with a unanimous YES vote!

Information Technologies Services, Corp.

The CWA Local 13500 Bargaining Team reached a Tentative Agreement with ITS this month. ITS members' ratification ballots are due no later than 5/28/2021. The Bargaining Team recommends a YES vote.

LifePath

In early May, the CWA Local 13500 Bargaining Committee agreed to restart negotiations with LifePath to attempt to reach an agreement while Pennsylvania continued to work on upgrading the reimbursement on which LifePath financially depends. However, once the expected revenue reimbursements came in woefully short, both parties agreed to continue under the extension agreement until ample funding has been secured.
