Comcast Alle-Kiske
During this month's bargaining sessions, Comcast pursued an agenda that would eliminate protections for job security, increase scheduling on the weekend and strip the contract of additional bargained for rights. The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee fought off these demands for givebacks and sought to improve existing contract language on shift bidding, inclement weather and training. Read the latest report.
Comcast South Hills
The CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Committee opened negotiations over the South Hills contract in November. The Committee fought for proposals that will create improvements to the contract while Comcast insisted on gutting the CBA. Ask your UP or Rep how you can get involved to send a message to the company that you WILL NOT settle for anything less than a fair contract! Read the latest report.
LifePath
CWA Local 13500 signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with LifePath for a one-time Appreciation/Hero Payment to LifePath members. Read the full MOA here:
Thryv PA/Potomac
The CWA joint District 1 and 2-13 Bargaining Committee reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with Thryv management. The Committee was able to defeat or mitigate Thryv’s attack on the contract and the protections it provides the members.
Given the current circumstances at Thryv and Nationally, your CWA D 1 & D 2-13 Bargaining Committee recommend a Yes vote on the agreement. Read the final report with TA details.
