District 2-13 Bargaining News: March 2024

Tentative Agreements with Comcast for Alle-Kiske and South Hills were ratified this month! Negotiations continued with Altice, Climate Reality, Mission Wired, Piedmont, UPO, and Zenimax. First contract negotiations opened with Fastmail, while the Newtown Firefighters’ contract was extended. CWA launched an ad campaign to support striking Pittsburgh Post-Gazette workers.

Comcast South Hills Bargaining: TA Reached on March 14, 2024

After several meetings with Comcast today, the Bargaining Team announced they reached a tentative agreement for the South Hills bargaining unit. A contract explanation and ratification vote meeting is scheduled on March 27.

Comcast Alle-Kiske 2023-24 Bargaining: TA Reached

After nearly a year of negotiations, the Bargaining Team announced a tentative agreement with Comcast over the All-Kiske contract. Plan to attend the explanation and ratification meeting on Wednesday, March 20.

February 2024 Bargaining News

Bargaining opened with Altice and Climate Reality this month. Negotiations continued with Comcast (Alle-Kiske & South Hills), MissionWired, Piedmont, and Threespot. Discussions about compensation changes at EveryAction took place on February 7th, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette bargainers met with District 2-13 for the first time since September.
