Verizon

CWA District 2-13 represents Verizon employees in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC. After an historic, 45-day strike with nearly 40,000 Verizon workers in 2016, CWA members achieved our major collective bargaining goals. The membership ratified extension agreements in 2022 and 2026. The contract remains in effect through August 3, 2030.

Darden Restaurants [DRI] CEO Clarence Otis and Banco Popular [BPOP] CEO Richard Carri?n, members of Verizon?s board of directors, are facing protests across the U.S. today, as members of the Communications Workers of America (CWA), Jobs with Justice and other allies urge the executives to take responsibility and urge Verizon to reach a fair contract with 45,000 members of CWA and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
