District 2-13 Bargaining News: April 2024

A tentative agreement for Delaware Social Workers was ratified, while Delaware OSBC members rejected the state's proposal. Altice and ITS contract expiration dates were extended as bargaining continues. Negotiations over the first contracts with Climate Reality, Fastmail, MissionWired, and Zenimax continued this month. Piedmont bargaining sessions were held this month. The NLRB sought an injunction that supports striking Pittsburgh Post-Gazette workers.

Tentative Agreements with Comcast for Alle-Kiske and South Hills were ratified this month! Negotiations continued with Altice, Climate Reality, Mission Wired, Piedmont, UPO, and Zenimax. First contract negotiations opened with Fastmail, while the Newtown Firefighters’ contract was extended. CWA launched an ad campaign to support striking Pittsburgh Post-Gazette workers.

October 2023 Bargaining Round Up

Bargaining with American Airlines, Comcast, Piedmont, and ZeniMax continued in October. Avaya and UPO contracts were extended. A tentative agreement with Brightspeed heads to a ratification vote, and an MOA with LifePath went into effect. Members and allies marked one year on strike at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
